Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Mold Tek Tech, Agro Phos India, Kamat Hotels, Monarch Networth and Gujarat Alkalie, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 246.85 points up at 17200.8 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as FutureLifestyleFash, Future Supply Chain, Future Consumer, Future Enterprises and Indiabulls Intgrtd, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 42 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 8 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ports SEZ, Bajaj Auto, Hero MotoCorp, M&M and Power Grid were among top gainers during the day, while ONGC, Apollo Hospital, Axis Bank, Hindalco and Asian Paints ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 776.72 points up at 57356.61.

Traders piled up positions in Shipping, Telecommunications, Power, Tea / Coffee and Gems and Jewellery sectors, while selling was witnessed in Tourism & Hospitality, Learning & Education, Agro Processing, Media & Entertainment and Plastics sectors during the day.
