Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Agro Phos India, Meghmani Finechem Ltd., Gokul Refoils, HBL Power and De Nora India, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 218.0 points down at 16953.95 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as FutureLifestyleFash, Future Supply Chain, Future Consumer, Future Market and Birla Tyres, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 8 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 42 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bajaj Auto, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, HDFC and Maruti Suzuki were among top gainers during the day, while Coal India Ltd, BPCL, Tata Steel, SBI Life and Hindalco ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 617.26 points down at 56579.89.

Traders piled up positions in Rubber, Telecommunications, General, Industrial Equipment and Textiles sectors, while selling was witnessed in Tourism & Hospitality, Agro Processing, Mining, Metals - Non Ferrous and Trading sectors during the day.
