Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Pearl Polymers, Vaishali Pharma, Nitiraj Engineers, Mohini Health & Hygi and Dangee Dums, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Pearl Polymers, Vaishali Pharma, Nitiraj Engineers, Mohini Health & Hygi and Dangee Dums, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 215.0 points down at 16958.65 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as INEOS Styrolution, Karda Const, SP Refractories Ltd., Indiabulls Intgrtd and Akash Infra-Proj, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 7 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 43 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Apollo Hospital, Coal India Ltd, RIL, ICICI Bank and BPCL were among top gainers during the day, while HDFC, HDFC Life, SBI Life, HDFC Bank and Tata Consumer ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 703.59 points down at 56463.15.

Traders piled up positions in Rubber, Mining, Defence, Diversified and Trading sectors, while selling was witnessed in Industrial Consumables, Tourism & Hospitality, Agro Processing, IT Software and Aquaculture sectors during the day.
