Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Hariom Pipe Industries Ltd., Dynacons Sys, Nahar Industrial, Thermax and Asian Hotels(E), hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 54.65 points down at 17475.65 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Debock Sales & Mktg, SP Refractories Ltd., Innovative Tyres & T and DRC Systems India Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 22 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 28 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, ONGC, Apollo Hospital, ITC, Sun Pharma and UPL were among top gainers during the day, while Maruti Suzuki, HDFC, HDFC Bank, Dr. Reddys and Tata Motors ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 237.44 points down at 58338.93.

Traders piled up positions in Aquaculture, IT - Hardware, Paper, Telecommunications and Learning & Education sectors, while selling was witnessed in Industrial Consumables, Agro Processing, Textiles, Irrigation & Allied Services and Tyres sectors during the day.
