Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Lokesh Machines, TheBykeHospitality, Deep Industries, Shaily Engg Pla and Nalwa Sons Invst, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 149.75 points down at 17807.65 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Uravi T and Wedge, Felix Industries, SP Refractories Ltd., Debock Sales & Mktg and Shaily Engg Pla, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 20 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 30 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Coal India Ltd, NTPC, Tata Steel, Power Grid and BPCL were among top gainers during the day, while HDFC Bank, HDFC, HDFC Life, HCL Tech and Tech Mahindra ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 566.09 points down at 59610.41.

Traders piled up positions in Trading, Telecommunications, Sugar, Glass and Paper sectors, while selling was witnessed in Industrial Consumables, Agro Processing, Textiles, Irrigation & Allied Services and IT Software sectors during the day.
