Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Shaily Engg Pla, Zuari Agro Chem, Genus Paper Boards, Cosmo Films and Zuari Global, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 382.95 points up at 18053.4 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as McDowell Hold, Swaraj Suiting Ltd., GMR Power and Urban Infra Ltd., Opto Circuits and Debock Sales & Mktg, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 47 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 3 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HDFC Bank, HDFC, Adani Ports SEZ, HDFC Life and Kotak Bank were among top gainers during the day, while Infosys, Tata Consumer, Titan Company, ONGC and JSW Steel ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 1335.05 points up at 60611.74.

Traders piled up positions in Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock, Holding Company, Aquaculture, Telecommunications and Shipping sectors, while selling was witnessed in Industrial Consumables, Textiles, Irrigation & Allied Services, Gems and Jewellery and Building Materials sectors during the day.
