Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Andhra Paper, Vidhi Specialty Food, Osia Hyper Retail, Jagsonpal Pharm and Adani Power, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Andhra Paper, Vidhi Specialty Food, Osia Hyper Retail, Jagsonpal Pharm and Adani Power, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 205.7 points up at 17670.45 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Felix Industries, GMR Power and Urban Infra Ltd., Swaraj Suiting Ltd., Perfect Infraenginee and Ganga Forging, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 39 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 11 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, NTPC, BPCL, Power Grid, IndusInd Bank and SBI were among top gainers during the day, while Hero MotoCorp, Tech Mahindra, SBI Life, Sun Pharma and Titan Company ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 708.18 points up at 59276.69.

Traders piled up positions in Holding Company, Paper, Telecommunications, Trading and Rubber sectors, while selling was witnessed in Industrial Consumables, Textiles, Irrigation & Allied Services, Pharmaceuticals and Gems and Jewellery sectors during the day.
