Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Dwarikesh Sugar, InfoBeans Tech, Ugar Sugar Work, Mangalam Global Ent and Shree Tirupati Balaj, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 331.9 points up at 16345.35 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Akash Infra-Proj, Felix Industries, Vivo Collaboration Solutions Ltd., Dhruv Consultancy and Hind Nat Glass, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 38 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 12 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Asian Paints, RIL, Bajaj Finance, M&M and IndusInd Bank were among top gainers during the day, while Shree Cements, ONGC, Power Grid, NTPC and Coal India Ltd ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 1223.24 points up at 54647.33.

Traders piled up positions in Airlines, Telecommunications, Media & Entertainment, Diversified and Textiles sectors, while selling was witnessed in Industrial Consumables, IT Enabled Services, Construction, Irrigation & Allied Services and Gas & Petroleum sectors during the day.
