Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Future Enterprises (DVR), Nahar Poly Film, Excel Ind, Guj Mineral Dev. and ABB Power, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 107.9 points down at 16498.05 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as UltraTech Cem., Ramco Cements, Shree Cements, Endurance Tech. and Hind Nat Glass, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 17 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 32 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, ONGC, UPL, Power Grid, Wipro and Tech Mahindra were among top gainers during the day, while UltraTech Cem., Asian Paints, HDFC Life, Shree Cements and Eicher Motors ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 366.22 points down at 55102.68.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Petrochemicals, Learning & Education, Gas & Petroleum and Power sectors, while selling was witnessed in Industrial Consumables, IT Enabled Services, Irrigation & Allied Services, Cement and Construction sectors during the day.
