Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Orient Bell, Fine Organic Ind., GRP Ltd, SEL Manufact and Genesys Intnl, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 410.45 points up at 16658.4 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Aegis Logistics, Richa Info Systems Ltd., Nagreeka Capital, Crown Lifters and Heidelberg Cement, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 47 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 3 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Coal India Ltd, Tata Motors, Tata Steel, Adani Ports SEZ and IndusInd Bank were among top gainers during the day, while Britannia, Nestle India, HUL, SBI Life and Eicher Motors ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 1328.61 points up at 55858.52.

Traders piled up positions in Beverages - Alcoholic, Rubber, Metals - Non Ferrous, Mining and Retail sectors, while selling was witnessed in Industrial Consumables, IT Enabled Services, Aquaculture, Electric/Electronics and Irrigation & Allied Services sectors during the day.
