Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Ion Exchange, Jagsonpal Pharm, Agri-Tech(India), Godha Cabcon & Insul and SEL Manufact, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 114.45 points down at 17092.2 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Dhani Ibull Ventures, Indiabulls Intgrtd, Geekay Wires, Take Solutions and Repco Home Fin, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 18 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 31 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, M&M, Bajaj Finserv, Eicher Motors, ONGC and Hindalco were among top gainers during the day, while Tata Steel, BPCL, TCS, Tata Motors and SBI Life ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 382.91 points down at 57300.68.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Retail, Plastics, Hospitals & Allied Services and Mining sectors, while selling was witnessed in IT Enabled Services, Industrial Consumables, Electric/Electronics, Miscellaneous and Real Estate sectors during the day.
