Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Ambika Cotton, Nahar Capital, Spectrum Electrical, Nahar Poly Film and AVT Nat Prod, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 43.9 points down at 17516.3 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Timescan Logistics(India)Ltd., Precision Metaliks Ltd., Dynamic Services & Security Ltd., Vera Synthetic and McDowell Hold, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 16 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 34 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Hindalco, ONGC, Sun Pharma, Asian Paints and Divis Labs were among top gainers during the day, while Hero MotoCorp, SBI, NTPC, M&M and HDFC Life ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 143.2 points down at 58644.82.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Rubber, Metals - Non Ferrous, Airlines and Miscellaneous sectors, while selling was witnessed in IT Enabled Services, Real Estate, Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock, Financial Services and Aquaculture sectors during the day.
