Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Mallcom(India), Trans & Rectif, Nahar Poly Film, Jindal Drilling and OnMobile Global, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Mallcom(India), Trans & Rectif, Nahar Poly Film, Jindal Drilling and OnMobile Global, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 203.15 points up at 17780.0 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Precision Metaliks Ltd., Dynamic Services & Security Ltd., Shri Ram Switchgears and Hind Nat Glass, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 39 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 10 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finserv, HCL Tech, Bajaj Finance and HDFC Life were among top gainers during the day, while Tech Mahindra, UltraTech Cem., Britannia, Nestle India and Hero MotoCorp ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 695.76 points up at 59558.33.

Traders piled up positions in Tea / Coffee, Packaging, Telecommunications, Paper and Electric/Electronics sectors, while selling was witnessed in Tyres, Sugar, Cement, Fertilisers and Tourism & Hospitality sectors during the day.
