Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Sharda Cropchem, Global Education, JIK Industries, Jindal Worldwide and Accord Synergy, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 468.05 points down at 17149.1 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Zomato Ltd., FSN E-Comm(Nykaa), Policy Bazaar, Gayatri Project and Aurobindo Pharma, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 2 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 48 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Cipla, ONGC, IndusInd Bank, Power Grid and ICICI Bank were among top gainers during the day, while JSW Steel, Tata Steel, Bajaj Finance, Grasim Inds. and Hindalco ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 1545.67 points down at 57491.51.

Traders piled up positions in Power, Aquaculture, InvIT, Tea / Coffee and Trading sectors, while selling was witnessed in Miscellaneous, Services, IT Enabled Services, Cables and Hospitals & Allied Services sectors during the day.
