Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Coastal Corp, Ruby Mills, Coffee Day Ent, Manaksia Steels and Guj Mineral Dev., hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 2.05 points down at 18255.75 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Dilip Buildcon, Gillette India and PayTM, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 21 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 28 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Consumer, TCS, Indian Oil Corp., Infosys and L&T were among top gainers during the day, while Asian Paints, Axis Bank, HUL, UPL and ONGC ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 12.27 points down at 61223.03.

Traders piled up positions in Industrial Equipment, Textiles, Sugar, IT - Hardware and Metals - Ferrous sectors, while selling was witnessed in Miscellaneous, Auto Ancillaries, Building Materials, Hospitals & Allied Services and FMCG sectors during the day.
