Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of AB Cotspin India Ltd., Vaswani Ind, Dhunseri Invst, Dynacons Sys and Titagarh Wagons, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 52.45 points up at 18055.75 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Vivo Collaboration Solutions Ltd., Policy Bazaar, Vikas Ecotech (PP), PayTM and Spandana Sphoorty, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 24 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 25 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HCL Tech, Adani Ports SEZ, HDFC, ONGC and Tech Mahindra were among top gainers during the day, while JSW Steel, Tata Steel, BPCL, Coal India Ltd and Hindalco ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 221.26 points up at 60616.89.

Traders piled up positions in Shipping, Aquaculture, Consumer Durables, Power and Telecommunications sectors, while selling was witnessed in Miscellaneous, Learning & Education, Sugar, Metals - Ferrous and Infrastructure sectors during the day.
