Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Dwarikesh Sugar, Aarey Drugs Ph, Banswara Syntex, DC Infotech and Indo Rama Synth, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 179.55 points up at 17805.25 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Vivo Collaboration Solutions Ltd., A and M Jumbo Bags L, Shri Ram Switchgears, HEC Infra Projects and McDowell Hold, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 36 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 14 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, NTPC, ONGC, Power Grid, SBI and Titan Company were among top gainers during the day, while Tata Motors, Coal India Ltd, Sun Pharma, Tata Consumer and Shree Cements ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 672.71 points up at 59855.93.

Traders piled up positions in Sugar, Telecommunications, Consumer Durables, Power and Rubber sectors, while selling was witnessed in Miscellaneous, Learning & Education, Services, Industrial Consumables and Tourism & Hospitality sectors during the day.
