Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Vivo Collaboration Solutions Ltd., BGR Energy, Alpa Labs, MSP Steel and Swelect Energy, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 150.1 points up at 17354.05 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as HEC Infra Projects, Shri Ram Switchgears, RM Drip and Sprinkle, RBL Bank and DCM Shriram Ind, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 44 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 6 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Hindalco, Titan Company, UltraTech Cem., Tata Motors and Kotak Bank were among top gainers during the day, while NTPC, Cipla, Tech Mahindra, Power Grid and Infosys ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 459.5 points up at 58253.82.

Traders piled up positions in Gems and Jewellery, Term Lending Institutions, IT Enabled Services, Holding Company and Metals - Non Ferrous sectors, while selling was witnessed in Tourism & Hospitality, Miscellaneous, Learning & Education, Infrastructure and Services sectors during the day.
