Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of DCM Shriram Ind, Euro Panel Products Ltd., Data Patterns(India)Ltd., Smartlink Holdings and PTL Enterprises, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 68.85 points down at 17003.75 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Shriram Properties Ltd., Vikas Multicorp(PP), CarTrade Tech, SJS Enterprises Ltd. and Indigo Paints Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 11 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 39 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HCL Tech, Tech Mahindra, SBI Life, Wipro and Asian Paints were among top gainers during the day, while Grasim Inds., NTPC, M&M, Eicher Motors and Indian Oil Corp. ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 190.97 points down at 57124.31.

Traders piled up positions in IT Enabled Services, Agro Processing, Industrial Equipment, IT Software and Tobacco sectors, while selling was witnessed in Tourism & Hospitality, Miscellaneous, Learning & Education, Services and Consumer Durables sectors during the day.
