Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of JTL Infra, Nupur Recyclers Ltd., Udaipur Cement Work, Medplus Health Services Ltd. and PTL Enterprises, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 117.15 points up at 17072.6 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Destiny Logistics & Infra Ltd., Vikas Multicorp(PP)and Tarsons Products Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 36 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 14 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Power Grid, Indian Oil Corp., ONGC, ITC and Cipla were among top gainers during the day, while Divis Labs, JSW Steel, Bharti Airtel, Sun Pharma and UltraTech Cem. ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 384.72 points up at 57315.28.

Traders piled up positions in Trading, IT Enabled Services, Industrial Equipment, Airlines and Tobacco sectors, while selling was witnessed in Tourism & Hospitality, Miscellaneous, Learning & Education, Services and Industrial Consumables sectors during the day.
