Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

MIC Electronics, MPS Infotecnics, Blue Chip India, IMP Powers Ltd and Steel Exchange, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of MIC Electronics, MPS Infotecnics, Blue Chip India, IMP Powers Ltd and Steel Exchange, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 371.0 points down at 16614.2 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Shriram Properties Ltd., Policy Bazaar, SVP Global, Niraj Cement and Bandhan Bank, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 3 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 47 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Cipla, HUL, Dr. Reddys, Power Grid and Asian Paints were among top gainers during the day, while BPCL, Tata Steel, Tata Motors, IndusInd Bank and SBI ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 1189.73 points down at 55822.01.

Traders piled up positions in Aquaculture, InvIT, FMCG, Building Materials and Pharmaceuticals sectors, while selling was witnessed in Miscellaneous, Tourism & Hospitality, Learning & Education, Services and Airlines sectors during the day.
