Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Gokul Refoils, Global Vectra, IMP Powers Ltd, Gyscoal Alloys and Indo Thai Sec, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 263.2 points down at 16985.2 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as RateGain Travel Technologies Ltd., Strides Shasun, Dhruv Consultancy, Dhani Ibull Ventures and IRIS Business Servic, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 6 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 44 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Wipro, Infosys, HCL Tech, Power Grid and Sun Pharma were among top gainers during the day, while IndusInd Bank, Tata Motors, ONGC, Kotak Bank and HUL ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 889.4 points down at 57011.74.

Traders piled up positions in IT Software, InvIT, Aquaculture, IT Enabled Services and Cables sectors, while selling was witnessed in Miscellaneous, Tourism & Hospitality, Learning & Education, Services and Media & Entertainment sectors during the day.
