Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Borosil L, Nitco, Websol Energy, BCL Industries and Ginni Filaments, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 27.0 points up at 17248.4 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Dhruv Consultancy, Vikas Multicorp(PP), Strides Shasun, Huhtamaki PPL and Nidan Laboratories And Healthcare Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 24 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 26 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bajaj Finance, Infosys, BPCL, Titan Company and RIL were among top gainers during the day, while Hindalco, Cipla, Maruti Suzuki, ICICI Bank and Hero MotoCorp ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 113.11 points up at 57901.14.

Traders piled up positions in Glass, Textiles, Gems and Jewellery, IT Software and Apparels sectors, while selling was witnessed in Miscellaneous, Tourism & Hospitality, Learning & Education, Services and Consumer Durables sectors during the day.
