Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NDTV, Total Transport Sys, Bhartiya Intnl, Precision Wires and Next Mediaworks, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of NDTV, Total Transport Sys, Bhartiya Intnl, Precision Wires and Next Mediaworks, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 43.35 points down at 17324.9 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Patel Integrat(PP), Dhruv Consultancy, Vasa Retail & Overse, Gulf Oil India and Bharti Airtel(PP), touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 26 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 24 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Power Grid, Divis Labs, Nestle India, Dr. Reddys and Axis Bank were among top gainers during the day, while ITC, Bajaj Finance, Tata Consumer, Kotak Bank and Bharti Airtel ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 166.33 points down at 58117.09.

Traders piled up positions in Electric/Electronics, Cables, Textiles, Retail and Gas & Petroleum sectors, while selling was witnessed in Miscellaneous, Tourism & Hospitality, Learning & Education, Services and Consumer Durables sectors during the day.
