Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Patel Integrat(PP), Shivalik Rasayan, Asian Oilfield, Next Mediaworks and MTNL, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 47.1 points up at 17516.85 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Marine Electricals, Gulf Oil India and SJS Enterprises Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 28 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 22 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, ITC, L&T, Asian Paints, UPL and RIL were among top gainers during the day, while HDFC Bank, Titan Company, Nestle India, NTPC and Power Grid ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 157.45 points up at 58807.13.

Traders piled up positions in Tobacco, Sugar, IT Enabled Services, Rubber and Media & Entertainment sectors, while selling was witnessed in Miscellaneous, Tourism & Hospitality, Learning & Education, Services and Financial Services sectors during the day.
