Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Neogen Chemicals, Vodafone Idea, De Nora India, Jindal Pol Film and JBM Auto, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 204.95 points down at 17196.7 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Tarsons Products Ltd., Gillette India, Marine Electricals, Alembic and Akzo Nobel, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 12 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 38 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, UPL, BPCL, ONGC, Indian Oil Corp. and L&T were among top gainers during the day, while Power Grid, RIL, Kotak Bank, Tech Mahindra and Asian Paints ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 764.83 points down at 57696.46.

Traders piled up positions in Cables, Packaging, Aquaculture, Infrastructure and Chemicals sectors, while selling was witnessed in Miscellaneous, Tourism & Hospitality, Learning & Education, Financial Services and Services sectors during the day.
