Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Universus Photo, Trejhara Solutions L, BEML, Raymond and Marshall Machines, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Universus Photo, Trejhara Solutions L, BEML, Raymond and Marshall Machines, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 27.5 points up at 17053.95 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Sapphire Foods India Ltd., Rajshree Polypack, Kesoram Inds.(PP), Quadpro ITeS Ltd. and RPP Infra Proj(PP), touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 18 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 32 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Kotak Bank, HCL Tech, HDFC Life, TCS and Wipro were among top gainers during the day, while BPCL, Sun Pharma, UPL, ONGC and Adani Ports SEZ ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 153.43 points up at 57260.58.

Traders piled up positions in Hospitals & Allied Services, IT Software, Gems and Jewellery, Industrial Equipment and Diversified sectors, while selling was witnessed in Miscellaneous, Tourism & Hospitality, Learning & Education, Glass and Sugar sectors during the day.
