Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Monte Carlo Fashion, Silly Monks Entertai, Patel Integrat(PP), DC Infotech and Lakshmi Finance, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 143.6 points down at 17873.6 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Vikas WSP, P&G Health, Strides Shasun, Walpar Nutritions Ltd. and IRIS Business Servic, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 9 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 41 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Titan Company, Hindalco, JSW Steel, M&M and Coal India Ltd were among top gainers during the day, while Indian Oil Corp., Tech Mahindra, SBI, ONGC and SBI Life ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 433.13 points down at 59919.69.

Traders piled up positions in Defence, Gems and Jewellery, Engineering, Retail and Apparels sectors, while selling was witnessed in Miscellaneous, Tourism & Hospitality, Learning & Education, Tyres and Industrial Consumables sectors during the day.
