Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Jindal Stainles, HG Infra Engg, Aptech, TCI Express and Jindal Stainless, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 143.0 points up at 18268.4 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Dev Information Tech, Dynamic Services & Security Ltd., D K Enterprises Global Ltd., SREI Infra Fin and Marine Electricals, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 38 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 12 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Tata Motors, Tata Steel, SBI Life, Titan Company and JSW Steel were among top gainers during the day, while IndusInd Bank, ICICI Bank, Power Grid, HUL and NTPC ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 383.21 points up at 61350.26.

Traders piled up positions in Rubber, Cables, Glass, Metals - Ferrous and Retail sectors, while selling was witnessed in Miscellaneous, Learning & Education, Services, Power and Telecommunications sectors during the day.
