Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Oricon Enterprises, NDR Auto Components, Welspun Investments, Privi Speciality Chemicals and Welspun Corp, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 130.71 points up at 24750.9 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Uma Exports, Navkar Builders, Shree Ram Proteins, Lasa Supergenerics and Axita Cotton, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 32 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 18 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Eternal, Dr. Reddys, Trent, Power Grid and ICICI Bank were among top gainers during the day, while IndusInd Bank, Tata Consumer, Axis Bank, Bajaj Finserv and Bajaj Finance ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 443.79 points up at 81442.04.

Traders piled up positions in IT Enabled Services, General, Tourism & Hospitality, Retail and Auto sectors, while selling was witnessed in Financial Services, Aquaculture, Trading, Construction and Fertilisers sectors during the day.
