Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

GRSE, FIEM Industries, Aegis Vopak Terminal, Mangalore Chem and Radico Khaitan, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of GRSE, FIEM Industries, Aegis Vopak Terminal, Mangalore Chem and Radico Khaitan, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 174.1 points down at 24542.5 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Capital Infra Trust, Aakash Exploration, Osia Hyper Retail, Signpost India and Ganga Forging, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 7 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 43 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Grasim Inds., Shriram Finance, M&M, Bajaj Auto and Cipla were among top gainers during the day, while Adani Ports SEZ, Adani Ent., Bajaj Finserv, Coal India Ltd and Power Grid ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 636.24 points down at 80737.51.

Traders piled up positions in IT Enabled Services, General, Tourism & Hospitality, Retail and Auto sectors, while selling was witnessed in Aquaculture, Financial Services, Construction, Glass and Holding Company sectors during the day.
