Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Lumax Auto Tech, Reliance Power, Shaily Engg Plastics, BSE and CCL Products, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 82.9 points down at 24750.7 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Signpost India, Career Point, Navkar Builders, Borana Weaves and Capri Global, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 7 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 43 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Eternal, SBI, HDFC Bank, L&T and Bajaj Finserv were among top gainers during the day, while Bajaj Auto, Hindalco, Shriram Finance, HCL Tech and Tech Mahindra ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 182.01 points down at 81451.01.

Traders piled up positions in IT Enabled Services, General, Tourism & Hospitality, Retail and Auto sectors, while selling was witnessed in Aquaculture, Learning & Education, Textiles, Glass and Financial Services sectors during the day.
