Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Camlin Fine Sc, Apollo Micro Systems, Centum Elec, Suven Life Sci and Racl Geartech, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 174.96 points down at 24826.2 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Shree Ram Proteins, California Soft(PP), Tantia Const, Chembond Chem and Protean eGov Techno, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 11 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 39 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Jio Financial Services, IndusInd Bank, Trent, Sun Pharma and Adani Ports SEZ were among top gainers during the day, while UltraTech Cem., ITC, JSW Steel, Tata Motors and Axis Bank ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 624.82 points down at 81551.63.

Traders piled up positions in IT Enabled Services, General, Tourism & Hospitality, Retail and Auto sectors, while selling was witnessed in Financial Services, Airlines, Tobacco, IT - Hardware and Construction sectors during the day.
