Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Stampede Cap(DVR), Suven Life Sci, Vishal Mega Mart, India Glycols and Ajax Engineering, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 346.36 points down at 24578.35 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Dharamsi Morarji, Karda Const, Career Point, Swiggy and Century Enka, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 13 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 37 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, BEL, Hero MotoCorp, Jio Financial Services, Dr. Reddys and Sun Pharma were among top gainers during the day, while Infosys, Power Grid, Eternal, HCL Tech and TCS ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 1281.68 points down at 81148.22.

Traders piled up positions in General, IT Enabled Services, Auto, Engineering and NBFC sectors, while selling was witnessed in IT Software, Metals - Non Ferrous, Construction, Tobacco and Term Lending Institutions sectors during the day.
