Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Force Motors, Reliance Naval & Engg, Privi Speciality Chemicals, Godfrey Philips and Cura Tech, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 12.5 points up at 24346.7 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Keerti Knowledge, Bodhi Tree Multimedia, GI Engineering, AGS Transact Tech and Gensol Engg, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 17 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 33 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ports SEZ, Bajaj Finance Ltd., IndusInd Bank Ltd., State Bank of India and Reliance Industries Ltd. were among top gainers during the day, while JSW Steel, Bajaj Auto Ltd., Eicher Motors Ltd., Hero MotoCorp and HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd. ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 259.75 points up at 80501.99.

Traders piled up positions in Airlines, Petrochemicals, Pesticides/Agro Chemicals, Learning & Education and Building Materials sectors, while selling was witnessed in Defence, Tobacco, Fertilisers, ReIT and InvIT sectors during the day.
