Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Country Condos, Manorama Ind, Paradeep Phosphates, Rajvir Ind and Reliance Naval & Engg, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 289.16 points up at 24328.5 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Ind-Swift Labs, GI Engineering, Eros Media, Varanium Cloud and Gensol Engg, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 39 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 11 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, RIL, Sun Pharma, JSW Steel, BEL and SBI Life were among top gainers during the day, while Shriram Finance, HCL Tech, UltraTech Cem., Eternal and HUL ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 1005.84 points up at 80218.37.

Traders piled up positions in General, IT Enabled Services, Services, Auto and Engineering sectors, while selling was witnessed in Miscellaneous, Learning & Education, Aquaculture, Cement and Trading sectors during the day.
