Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Country Condos, Choice Intnl, Rama Phosphates, Cura Tech and Paradeep Phosphates, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 161.71 points up at 24328.95 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as AGS Transact Tech, Gensol Engg, Dhanvarsha Finvest, Punjab Alkalies and BDR Buildcon, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 39 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 11 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HCL Tech, Tata Motors, Tech Mahindra, Wipro and Infosys were among top gainers during the day, while Grasim Inds., HDFC Bank, Kotak Bank, SBI and Axis Bank ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 520.9 points up at 80116.49.

Traders piled up positions in General, IT Enabled Services, Services, Auto and Engineering sectors, while selling was witnessed in Consumer Durables, Glass, Banks, Cement and Industrial Consumables sectors during the day.
