Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Oswal Agro Mill, ICE Make Refrigeration, Binani Ind, Gujarat Themis and Shree Vasu Logistics, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 414.46 points up at 23851.65 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Vikas Multicorp, Kesoram Inds., Gensol Engg, Karda Const and Lakshmi Precis, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 44 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 6 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Eternal, ICICI Bank, Bharti Airtel, Sun Pharma and Bajaj Finserv were among top gainers during the day, while Wipro, Hero MotoCorp, JSW Steel, Tech Mahindra and Coal India Ltd ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 1508.91 points up at 78553.2.

Traders piled up positions in General, IT Enabled Services, Services, Auto and Telecommunications sectors, while selling was witnessed in Textiles, Tea / Coffee, IT - Hardware, Construction and Sugar sectors during the day.
