Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Reliance Naval & Engg, NACL Industries, Hotel Rugby, ARSS Infra and ICICI BSELiqETF Gr, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Reliance Naval & Engg, NACL Industries, Hotel Rugby, ARSS Infra and ICICI BSELiqETF Gr, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Monday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 742.86 points down at 22161.6 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Siemens, MITCON Const & Engg.(PP), Onward Tech, Carraro India L and Themis Medicare, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 1 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 49 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HUL, NTPC, Zomato, Apollo Hospital and Nestle India were among top gainers during the day, while Trent, Tata Steel, JSW Steel, Hindalco and Shriram Finance ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 2226.79 points down at 73137.9.

Traders piled up positions in General, IT Enabled Services, Services, Auto and Apparels sectors, while selling was witnessed in Metals - Ferrous, Textiles, Engineering, Construction and Packaging sectors during the day.
