Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of AGI Infra Ltd., ITC Hotels, Manappuram Finance, CarTrade Tech and AXISCADES Engg Tech, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 159.75 points up at 23350.4 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as AGS Transact Tech, Kesoram Inds., Prabha Energy, Tijaria Polypipes and Nexus Select Trust REIT, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 38 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 12 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, SBI Life, ONGC, NTPC, BPCL and Bajaj Finance were among top gainers during the day, while Hindalco, Infosys, Wipro, Trent and Tata Steel ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 557.45 points up at 76905.51.

Traders piled up positions in General, IT Enabled Services, Services, Auto and IT - Hardware sectors, while selling was witnessed in Leather, Textiles, Learning & Education, Metals - Non Ferrous and Aquaculture sectors during the day.
