Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Avanti Feeds, Reliance Naval & Engg, Bohra Industries, Gujarat Themis and Norben Tea Exp, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 254.65 points up at 22337.3 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Gensol Engg, MEP Infrastructure, Ansal Prop, Capital Infra Trust and AGS Transact Tech, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 45 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 5 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ports SEZ, Tata Steel, Adani Ent., M&M and Power Grid were among top gainers during the day, while Bajaj Finance, IndusInd Bank, HDFC Bank, Shriram Finance and Grasim Inds. ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 740.3 points up at 73730.23.

Traders piled up positions in General, IT Enabled Services, Services, Auto and Power sectors, while selling was witnessed in Leather, Textiles, NBFC, Construction and ReIT sectors during the day.
