Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Narayana Hruday, Norben Tea Exp, Blue Coast Hotel, Mahamaya Steel and Camlin Fine Sc, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 5.8 points up at 22547.55 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as MITCON Const & Engg., Indoco Remedies, Compuage Infocom, AGS Transact Tech and Indef Manufacturing, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 19 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 31 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, M&M, Bharti Airtel, Bajaj Finance, Nestle India and Maruti Suzuki were among top gainers during the day, while Hindalco, Dr. Reddys, Trent, Sun Pharma and Hero MotoCorp ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 147.71 points up at 74602.12.

Traders piled up positions in General, IT Enabled Services, Services, Auto and Telecommunications sectors, while selling was witnessed in Leather, Textiles, Metals - Non Ferrous, Gas & Petroleum and Sugar sectors during the day.
