Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Deccan Cements, Denta Water and Infr, Shree Rama News, Nitiraj Engineers and Madhya Bharat Agro, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Deccan Cements, Denta Water and Infr, Shree Rama News, Nitiraj Engineers and Madhya Bharat Agro, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 19.75 points down at 22913.15 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Suratwwala Business, Ankit Metal Pwr, Sanco Industries, Astron Paper & Board and Par Drugs & Chemical, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 27 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 23 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Shriram Finance, NTPC, M&M, BEL and Adani Ports SEZ were among top gainers during the day, while HDFC Bank, Maruti Suzuki, Tech Mahindra, Tata Consumer and HCL Tech ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 203.22 points down at 75735.96.

Traders piled up positions in General, IT Enabled Services, Services, Auto and Power sectors, while selling was witnessed in Leather, Textiles, Tobacco, Construction and Banks sectors during the day.
