Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Norben Tea Exp, Aarti Pharmalabs, Ajax Engineering, Mahamaya Steel and Blue Coast Hotel, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 14.21 points down at 22945.3 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Onelife Capital, Suratwwala Business, B&B Triplewall Containers, JHS Svendgaard and Lancor Holdings, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 24 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 26 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, NTPC, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Power Grid and ONGC were among top gainers during the day, while IndusInd Bank, Trent, UltraTech Cem., BEL and M&M ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 29.47 points down at 75967.39.

Traders piled up positions in General, IT Enabled Services, Services, Auto and Power sectors, while selling was witnessed in Leather, Textiles, IT - Hardware, Defence and Rubber sectors during the day.
