Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Vimta Labs, Mahamaya Steel, Norben Tea Exp, Aarvee Denims and Dr. Agarwals Health, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 26.55 points down at 23045.25 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as DB Corp., Generic Engg, Gensol Engg, Prince Pipes and Delta Manufacturing, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 26 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 24 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bajaj Finserv, SBI Life, HDFC Life, Tata Steel and Shriram Finance were among top gainers during the day, while M&M, Eicher Motors, BEL, ITC and Hero MotoCorp ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 122.52 points down at 76171.08.

Traders piled up positions in General, IT Enabled Services, Services, Auto and Beverages - Alcoholic sectors, while selling was witnessed in Leather, Real Estate, Textiles, Aquaculture and Cables sectors during the day.
