Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Kanpur Plastip, Niraj Ispat Ind., Oil Country Tub, Supreme Holdings and Aeroflex Industries, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Kanpur Plastip, Niraj Ispat Ind., Oil Country Tub, Supreme Holdings and Aeroflex Industries, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Wednesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 42.96 points down at 23696.3 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Nilkamal Ltd, Karda Const, AGS Transact Tech, Tube Investments and Sundaram Multi, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 23 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 27 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, ONGC, Hindalco, Apollo Hospital, BPCL and Adani Ports SEZ were among top gainers during the day, while Asian Paints, Titan Company, Nestle India, HUL and Britannia ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 312.53 points down at 78271.28.

Traders piled up positions in General, IT Enabled Services, Services, Auto and Power sectors, while selling was witnessed in Leather, Textiles, Construction, Building Materials and Real Estate sectors during the day.
