Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Reliance Naval & Engg, Navkar Builders, Blue Coast Hotel, Tera Software and United Polyfab Gujar, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

Retail and banking stocks rose 0.5 per cent and 0.7 per cent, respectively.
NEW DELHI: Shares of Reliance Naval & Engg, Navkar Builders, Blue Coast Hotel, Tera Software and United Polyfab Gujar, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 128.1 points up at 22957.25 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as InfoBeans Tech, Punjab Chemical, Shanti Overseas, Signet Ind and Compucom Software, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 25 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 25 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Bajaj Finance, Axis Bank, Shriram Finance, Bajaj Finserv and HDFC Bank were among top gainers during the day, while Sun Pharma, Britannia, Hindalco, Grasim Inds. and BEL ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 535.24 points up at 75901.41.

Traders piled up positions in General, Services, Auto, Beverages - Alcoholic and Apparels sectors, while selling was witnessed in IT - Hardware, Textiles, Electric/Electronics, IT Enabled Services and Learning & Education sectors during the day.
