Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Zensar Tech, Reliance Naval & Engg, United Polyfab Gujar, Wipro and BGR Energy, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 50.0 points up at 23205.35 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Mamata Machinery, DAM Capital Advisors, Ddev Plastiks Ind, Noida Toll Bridge Co and Jai Corp, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 32 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 18 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, UltraTech Cem., Grasim Inds., Wipro, Shriram Finance and M&M were among top gainers during the day, while BPCL, Kotak Bank, HCL Tech, Power Grid and RIL ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 115.39 points at 76520.38.

Traders piled up positions in General, Services, Auto, Beverages - Alcoholic and Apparels sectors, while selling was witnessed in Textiles, Construction, Irrigation & Allied Services, Electric/Electronics and Trading sectors during the day.
