Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Goldiam Intnl, Univastu India, Indo Thai Sec, Oil Country Tub and IRIS Business Services, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Tuesday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 90.1 points up at 23176.05 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Spacenet Enterprise, MEP Infrastructure, Antarctica Ltd, Juniper Hotels and Brand Concepts, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 34 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 16 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Adani Ent., Hindalco, Adani Ports SEZ, NTPC and BEL were among top gainers during the day, while HCL Tech, HUL, Apollo Hospital, Titan Company and TCS ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 169.62 points at 76499.63.

Traders piled up positions in General, Services, Power, Auto and Apparels sectors, while selling was witnessed in Defence, IT Software, Textiles, FMCG and Irrigation & Allied Services sectors during the day.
