Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

Mazda Ltd, Atlas Cycles, IRIS Business Services, Indo Thai Sec and Power & Instrument, hit their fresh 52-week highs during the day.

NEW DELHI: Shares of Mazda Ltd, Atlas Cycles, IRIS Business Services, Indo Thai Sec and Power & Instrument, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 95.0 points down at 23431.5 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as GTPL Hathway, Jai Corp, Dish TV India, Global Surfaces and Pritish Nandy, touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 14 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 36 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, TCS, Tech Mahindra, HCL Tech, Wipro and Infosys were among top gainers during the day, while Shriram Finance, IndusInd Bank, Adani Ent., NTPC and BEL ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 241.3 points at 77378.91.

Traders piled up positions in General, Services, Auto, Telecommunications and Apparels sectors, while selling was witnessed in Learning & Education, Cables, Defence, Textiles and Term Lending Institutions sectors during the day.
